Sharing knowledge and ideas across companies, reflecting on strategic developments, and developing new perspectives for products and solutions: These were the focal points of our biannual company week, during which the employees of our corporate group gathered in person.
Twice a year, all teams of our group of companies come together at our headquarters in Nittendorf, Germany—an important counterbalance to our daily remote collaboration. Last week, our managing directors welcomed the colleagues from Smap3D as well as our sister companies Solid System Team (SST) and CAD Partner in person to share experiences, learn from one another, and discuss important topics.
Revenue growth and promising projects
A look at our business performance shows a positive trend: all three companies in the group increased their revenue compared to the previous year. This growth is the result of close collaboration among our teams and confirms our strategic approach.
Our Smap3D team also took the opportunity to hold in-depth discussions about ongoing and upcoming projects in 2026. Well-thought-out solutions for our customers and the latest features and highlights of our software have been presented. Preparations for the Smap3D Summit 2026 are also already in full swing and were presented: Our first event for interested parties and customers from across Europe will feature, among other things, interesting presentations by customers and partners, live demonstrations of software and hardware, expert panels on selected technical topics, and insights into the Smap3D roadmap for the coming years.
Knowledge Transfer and Team Cohesion
In addition to these specialized topics, the week was primarily focused on professional development and knowledge transfer: Through training sessions and workshops, we were able to deepen our expertise, share project experiences, and develop new perspectives—particularly through collaboration across different departments.
At the same time, the week provided the perfect opportunity to welcome new colleagues: a total of twelve new team members have joined the group over the past few months. Face-to-face interaction makes the onboarding process easier and strengthens connections across locations and departments. Long-standing employees were also in the spotlight: Sales colleagues Tim Frie (Sales Director EMEA at Smap3D) and Tim Dornbusch (Head of Key Account Management at SST) each look back on ten years with the company. IT specialist Andreas Knott also celebrated a special milestone with 25 years at the company—a strong sign of continuity and trust.
The week concluded with a social evening that provided an opportunity for conversations outside of the daily work routine and brought the company week to a close in a relaxed atmosphere. With new inspiration, a strengthened team spirit, and a clear focus on the future, we are starting the coming months with renewed motivation.
