Your pipeline has been planned and is now to be manufactured. Whether sawing, labeling, bending, collaring or welding: Each production order is usually divided into several individual processes, which now have to be channeled through fabrication as efficiently as possible. Downtimes, e.g. due to tool changes, must be reduced to a minimum. Manual production planning often becomes a Herculean task, since you usually do not only release one production order, but have to process several orders in parallel.
This is exactly where Smap3D PIPEFAB supports you. This modular and scalable fabrication planning and controlling system enables dynamic production planning of a large number of individual orders, taking into account processes, machines and materials. The orders are broken down into lot size-optimized production units and then optimized for each process according to, among other things, set-up time, waste, utilization or material flow.
The data is then processed and transferred to the machines networked with Smap3D PIPEFAB. Alternatively, parts, cutting, bending, collaring and welding lists can be created and passed to the machine operators. The production results are reported back to Smap3D PIPEFAB. In addition, assembly processes and logistics (e.g. pallet tracking) can be mapped.
