3D CAD Systems and the Smap3D Standard Parts

Currently Smap3D EDM/PDM is only available for the 3D CAD System Solid Edge®. The software needs no further system requirements. The recommended system requirements of the supporting CAD systems are sufficient.

 

Integration in Solid Edge®

CAD Partner GmbH and Siemens PLM Software work extremely closely together to deliver standard parts. Since Solid Edge Version 15, UGS have been selling the Smap3D standard parts catalogs directly.

The standard parts management system in Solid Edge is developed by CAD Partner as a reduced version of Smap3D PartFinder.
